If you would have told me when IÂ was starting my journey as a photographer that I'd be one of ten contestants on a photography competition show, I'd ask you to sit down and drink some water 'cause you are not talking any sense haha!Â
The first episode of season two of the Creator Series is out in the wild. This whole process was exciting, terrifying, enlightening, and probably at least three more adjectives that end in -ing! Being limited to only 10 minutes to create something unique was only element that threw us all for a loop. We found out the challenge as it was announced, saw the model right after that, and then had to put a plan in action.Â
I went 9th this challenge and had LOTS of time to sit and overthink what IÂ was going to do! Stepping on set for my turn, I only blanked for a couple minutes haha but had to quickly switch gears and just treat it like any other shoot. Give my client (in this case a 1940s vintage styled model) a photo that she would love. Yes, IÂ wanted the judges to love it too (obviously haha) but if your client isn't happy, they probably wouldn't be either.
I'm thankful to have come in third place for this challenge and excited to move forward on the journey!
